Swimwear

Being blonde, myself and my boys burn very quickly in the sun and so for convenience as well as to try to minimise the amount of suncream that we use, we all try to cover up as much as possible especially when at the beach or swimming.

I am therefore delighted to have found that quite a few companies now make their rash vests and swimwear out of recycled plastic, including Quicksilver, Zoggs and a Steve Backshall range at Mountain Warehouse.

Whilst there is still a debate around the green credentials of recycled plastic clothes, I do think that it is at least better than virgin plastic and so I will be showing my support for these products, until someone manages to invent a better solution for our swimwear.
